Our signature bold and beautiful creations, inspired by the quintessential English garden have earned us a loyal client list including the Royal Family and some of London’s most eminent businesses such as The Ritz, Sotheby’s, Fortnum & Mason, Van Cleef & Arpels and Derwent London.
What began life as a small Mayfair shop serving local residents and businesses 30 years ago, has grown into a well-known name in the floral industry, delivering bouquets nationwide and creating spectacular events across the world. JOB DESCRIPTION
We’re looking for a highly experienced florist to join the team at PAUL THOMAS. This role is of central importance to the company and is an exciting opportunity to work across all departments including ecommerce bouquets and events with a main focus on regular contracts. The right candidate will have the chance to play a key role in an experienced and fun team in a busy environment and will be given the opportunity to develop their skills.
This is a full time, hands-on role, that demands a flexible attitude to working days and hours to ensure that PAUL THOMAS continues to offer its clients the highest quality product and service.
Working closely with our Founder & Creative Director, Paul Thomas-Jeffreys and a team of master florists, the successful candidate will create and deliver truly extraordinary flowers.
DUTIES
- Making, delivering and installing flowers in all areas of the business, overseen by Senior Management.
- Supporting Contract managers on pulling vases, designing installations and making
- Supporting the different areas of the business such as the shop and events where required
- Supporting client requests as and when they come in
- Ordering and buying flowers from the local flower market or online
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and clients
- Support the Gifting Manager in replying to shop emails
- Staying up to date with current design trends and sharing new techniques with the wider team when learnt
- Make deliveries as and when needed to our London based clients
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least 5 years’ experience within the floral and shop industry
- Must possess an excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Will possess a genuine passion for floristry and the energy to tackle every event, large or small, with enthusiasm
- Preferred but not essential – Will hold a full UK driving licence and be happy to drive vans on occasion
- The successful candidate should be happy with early starts and willing to work at the weekend as this is a necessity

JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Contract Florist & Designer you will support the Head of Weekly Flowers to run and design our weekly floral contracts, shaping client relationships and directing creative output. With a focus on exceptional service and operational precision, you will support aspects of floral design and client management — ensuring both creative excellence and commercial success.
DUTIES
· Client Support & Relationship Management
Support the Senior Client & Design Manager in maintaining relationships with key contract clients, assisting with quarterly reviews, responding to day-to-day client needs, and helping identify upsell opportunities.
· Floral Design & Creative Support
Support the delivery of floral design for weekly contracts and seasonal installations, ensuring designs align with the PAUL THOMAS brand standards and client briefs. Contribute creatively while executing direction from senior leadership.
· Business Development Support
Assist with identifying new weekly flower contracts and design opportunities, including attending site visits, preparing proposals, and supporting tender responses in collaboration with the Business Development Manager and Senior Client & Design Manager.
· Team Supervision & Coordination
Provide day-to-day supervision and support to florists and freelance staff on contracts and installations. Act as a key point of contact on-site, escalating issues to senior management where required.
· Floral Procurement Assistance
Support flower and foliage procurement by placing orders, checking deliveries, and helping manage stock in line with agreed designs and margins.
· Scheduling & Logistics Support
Assist with coordinating weekly deliveries, staffing schedules, installations, and maintenance visits to ensure smooth and timely execution.
· Seasonal Projects Support
Support the planning, installation, and breakdown of seasonal contract projects, including Christmas installations, working closely with the Senior Client & Design Manager to deliver creative and operational excellence.

· Have at least 3 years’ experience in senior-level floristry or creative client services roles.
· Must possess an excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
· Will possess a genuine passion for floristry and the energy to tackle every event, large or small, with enthusiasm

- Ordering and buying flowers from the local flower market or online
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and clients
- Staying up to date with current design trends and sharing new techniques with the wider team when learnt
- Make deliveries as and when needed to our Dubai-based clients
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least 5 years’ experience within the floral and shop industry
- Must possess an excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Will possess a genuine passion for floristry and the energy to tackle every event, large or small, with enthusiasm
- Ideally holds a driving licence, but not essential
- The successful candidate should be happy with early starts and willing to work at the weekend as this is a necessity
